Fighting the Flu

Any suggestions?

I picked up my daughter from preschool on Friday because she threw up in class proceeded to get my step daughter sick who in turn got me sick. I slept through the weekend (except for the game) and still feel like crap.

I woke up this morning and my dog pooped diarrhea all over my house. Now i'm back at work fighting the funk.

Definitely not good Karma the past 3 days :-(

First of all go home. See how it has spread just with you?

Rest, fluids and vitamin c. Let it run its course.

Unfortunately I do not have the luxury to go home. It's just me and my business partner and she wouldn't know what to do if I died. (bad business model I know).

I feel really guilty as I got mad at my dog for pooping all over the house but I realize that I am the one who got him sick :-(

just FYI, humans and dogs do not spread the flu to one another. dogs only get H3N8, which can spread between dogs and between horses and dogs. it does not infect humans.

so, it is probably something other than the flu, or your dog ate a bad batch of alpo

Thanks for that tidbit. I felt bad all day thinking I got him sick too.

I was skeptical at first, but Tamiflu really worked for me.  I took it one night and I felt pretty darn good the following morning for having the flu.  Granted, by about mid-day I was starting to feel really fatigued and run down again.  Just make sure you eat something with it because it can wreck your stomach.
