Cam is my guy, but be real, if you think he wasn't missing throws out there then you're just being silly. And nobody said he has to be perfect, but he damn well has to be a lot better than what he has been the last 3 weeks. Forcing balls down the field when the underneath guy is open there is no excuse for, other than he was trying to do to much. I think the fact that the coaching staff wants to always use him as a duel threat is also a problem, because when he wasn't being asked to run he was very efficient. I think it just wears him down physically and mentally.

Yeah I agree he miss throws like most QB'S do. But what happens when he makes throws and people drop them. Or he gets no time. What is the % of perfection Cam must be for this offense to be good in your opinion.

I agree to many drops, Bersin's drop turns into an INT, KB 2 dropped TD in 2 weeks, Cotchery's Game winning TD Drop in Cincinnati, and his drop down near the goal line tonight, Avant had a perfect throw tonight dropped. The way Cam was playing at the beginning of the year was very good. He's Certainly struggling mainly cause of the O-line, he just needs to be better than the last 3 weeks, and I think he will be.

The problem with your theory is Cam hasn't been sacked as much as Carr. He hasn't been pressured as much as Carr. And sometimes he runs himself into trouble when there isn't any. You can call that whatever you want but when you gives rushers an angle that's on the QB.

Carr was sacked 267 times in his career.

Cam has been sacked 135 times.

Through 4 seasons, Carr was sacked 198 times. Cam is on pace to be sacked 21 more times this season, putting his 4 year total at 156. While not as much, he's already starting to feel the hits (ankle surgery + rib injury that lingered).

Cam has also been within one yard of the line of scrimmage more than any other QB in the league in the pay 4 years, almost double the next closest (Luck).

So yeah, Cam is hit. A lot. And yes, he's starting to feel people when they're not there (which is exactly what I said, but, you know, reading is hard).
