I think Cam will listen to offers because we wont give him what he wants. Not only that is the reason but, he needs to work under a good offensive mind. I would love to see that.

what makes ya think JR and Gettleman won't pay Cam what he wants?

Or is this just a gutt feeling based on nothing.

Yep, you're right. It was all his fault someone got his knee. He planned the whole thing. I'm guessing a "healthy" QB would have survived this?

C'mon, why didn't you tell the the world this was going to happen? Too easy to talk now, eh?

Keep beating your chest and yelling, "See, I told ya!" At least you'll look good in the mirror.

Yea because it takes someone with psychic ability to tell that a 34 year old QB that had what many called a potential career ending injury to his knees in a playoff game against the steelers in 2005, torn tendon in 2008 where he decided not to have Tommy John surgery, also missed games this season before tearing his ACL. You can't always rely on looking up how many games he missed because maybe he got hurt in the playoffs or played hurt.

Would you have said anything when the Cardinals made the playoffs?

I seriously doubt it. Face it, you lucked into a situation where an athlete's injury bolstered an otherwise ill-informed opinion, nothing more.

So, let's hear your opinion on a 31-year old linebacker who has had the exact same knee injury on 3 different occasions and landed a 5-year deal in February of this year from the Carolina Panthers. You may start tap-dancing now....

I'll informed opinion lol. You try to tell me Carson Palmer was healthy based on games played, because players never play hurt. I actually researched and found plenty of information on injuries to Carson Palmer. It's as easy as getting on Google or even Wikipedia.

Not to mention he had already missed games this season. It's called common sense. Sure there is always the small chance that someone does come back from a major injury like TD but it's very common for players with major injuries to start to break down when they are over 30.

Not agreeing or disagreeing but take a look at Davis's deal and tell me injury didn't factor in it? Very team friendly deal. I haven't looked at palmers deal but Davis's five year deal is less then one for Carson

They're not really comparable because TD has a contact that will carry him 2-3 years, tops. Palmer's deal was stated at three years, but 2015 and 2016 are option years for Arizona, so he essentially on a series of 1-year deals at the discretion of the team.

Thomas Davis, on the other hand, is making $950k this year, but is due $7.25M next year and $1M in 2016-2018. Sure, it's team friendly this year, but unless he restructures next year, he'll be gone.

I'm guessing if Carson Palmer is to be considered "often injured" because he's missed parts of 4 seasons due to injury, then Ben Roethlisbeger should be classified as "always injured" since he's missed games virtually every year as a pro except 2... and he's younger than Palmer. And Jay Cutler hasn't played a complete season in 5 years and he's 3 years younger than Palmer.

Yet you inferred that Davis got a big pay day inspite of injuries, which is simply not true. At least that's how I read it.
