last week my son asked... who are the panthers number 1 enemy... to that I replied... "sometimes the bucs, or falcons, but mainly the Saints... Son you are never allowed to root for the saints ever!"

 

he replied with.... "is there anyone other than the saints, bucs, or falcons that we will never root for... 

 

I said "propably the niners.... I hate them"

 

so i'm not having a lot of fun watching this game

I agree but the population isn't the market. The market is the number of fans (money-making ability) and no doubt the Niners have way more fans than us around the country.

But "the market" usually consist of the teams home base, and it's environs.

 

You gotta win, to have a national following, and certainly to get the media to like you.

 

So the Panthers, just gotta win 2-4 Superbowl's during the 10 years to get some respect.

 

Regarding the refs: They just gotta win something (A conference, A Superbowl; hell even the division again). Lol
