Things we've learned this season from the staff

Recommended Posts

-We watch a lot of tape after multiple loses and refuse to correct

-RR does do "injury reports" on Monday until after  meeting with the media

-Cam has got to get better regardless of how we lose according to every interview from him

-Shula knows he doesn't have an elite QB

-DG doesn't have to address the media unless should broad gets allegedly smacked around

-JR goes to bed before 7 on Thursday nights during Primetime (lol)

-We can pick Roman Harper's brain and stil watch him get burnt from the very same teachings

-PS are far easier to sign because they failed here before which validates them to our playbook

-DWill can start as long as he can cut and stand up straight regardless of how well Stew/Fozzy does

-All we have to say, "these guys haven't played much together" to justify a lack of skill

-Shula gets unlimited passes but can't call a pass play correctly

-4th and 1 is the proper time to air the ball out on a desperation drive

-being down 28-0 does not mean we should settle for a FG

-There is no such thing as embarrassment no matter how many games we lose

-We mastered losing close games over the years but now we're working on not having close games this year as top priority

-slow receivers should produce better results

-Nortman can punt great so we should rely on him to stop a midget rb that runs straight down the middle

-Halloween makes the month of October to scary to games

-We can pretend Olsen is not on the field by not knowing why his isn't in the game plan

-Even now "a" win can stop all disappointment

-We're on the cusp at 3-6-1

-Eventually a 3-4 defense will turn into a 4-3.... just wait it out!

-JR gets unlimited refills of Bojangles tea

-Benji intentionally came to a team that sucks by jogging at the combune

-Stephen Hill is a solid PS WR

-Stadium attendance looks as if we rent our stadium

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
