Of course that IDIOT Frank Garcia...

...is on the radio trying to argue that he knows best and Rivera made the right call playing it safe at the end.

The reason he's able to make that stupid argument is because people keep focusing on the call on THIRD DOWN ONLY instead of the fact that the Panthers never even took a shot at the endzone from as close as they were because at that point Rivera's philosophy didn't care if they didn't score a TD.

It's not about THIRD DOWN!

It's about "FG range" means becoming conservative no matter how much time is on the clock. They were conservative on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down, not just 3rd down!

i don't think the staff trusts Cam. After that tipped ball almost INT, the staff's nuts withdrew up in to their body and they settled for a FG. They should already be cleaning out their offices.

With the way Cam was playing on 3rd downs, I don't think they trusted him either so I can understand that decision. But at least attempt a throw rather than just giving up.

Frank Garcia

Darin Gantt

Brett Jensen

If you unfollow these three on Twitter and turn the channel or radio dial when you see or hear them, you will save brain cells. These are paid, professional trolls that you should ignore if you're a Panthers fan or Charlotte sports fan in general.

Especially Frank Garcia. Anyone who's going to listen to him just because he played the game must listen to everyone who's ever played the game. Of course they don't, so why does everyone around these parts act like Garcia knows something?

I turned it off as soon as I heard him launch into a caller about even suggesting that Rivera blew it.

You mean the staff can't trust themselves.

Don't listen to what Garcia says.

He's always quick to take blame off Rivera and place it squarely on Cam (though he did come around later after the game).

You had no choice but try to get closer to the goal line or score a TD. If Cam would have crapped the bed doing so, then he would be to blame.

However, Rivera crapped the bed by getting scared, never giving himself the best chance to win. So he's the goad instead.

QB's don't always have perfect games. However, if you're hot at the end, you roll with (unless you're Ron Rivera of course)_.

How many QB's have played poorly against the Panthers during a game, just to march down the field at the end and beat the Panthers?.....

Unfortunately, plenty!!

I totally agree. This is on RIvera and the staff.  Can't wait to see them go.

They don't just "not trust him," they've completely given up on him, but their main problem is they can't adjust anything during games, including their mindsets and philosophies.

Whether they "trust Cam" or not, he was on fire those last three drives and had just thrown two long TD passes on the previous two drives. They should've "stayed with the hot hand" and allowed him to try to make another one.

The fact that they didn't allow him to take one shot at a TD from inside the 40 is proof that they don't think he's worth a d@mn.

If they don't trust CAm why on 3rd and short time after the time after time are you asking him to make perfect drop passes down the field instead of short safe throws??

Making the WR have to make a play for a 1st.

yep, and I hope it gets them fired. I have doubted Cam in the past but he deserves more than this coaching staff.

    • My only conclusion about that is they either thought both were worthy or Bryce was worthy.  Frank’s reaction hints that - if they were straight with him - they thought either would do.    My opinion was that neither was worth doing that fake but that was before I even ‘scouted’ them I am just against that type of move regardless  A firm policy   If you can trade for the pick, it likely isn’t a generational player in the first place, because people don’t trade those. Get a clue David Tepper   It was such a clusterfug.
    • KB was always an anomaly to me and hard to judge. He never looked the same after his knee injury and his mom's passing. Grief does strange things to people. I know some people who've bounced right back and I've known some that it just tore apart and it changed their personality and life perspective. He was admittedly in a dark place after that and it just kept going downhill. I always thought that grief may have played a bigger role than we think, or it may not have. That's just one of those I shake my head and say man, I just don't know.
