DeAngelo has become borderline annoying on social media.

DeAngelo posted this on his facebook today:

And some dude called him out, to which he responded:

Is it time for DeAngelo to quit attention whoring over social media? I've always liked him as a player but as of late he's been coming off as a primadonna.

Neat thing about   SM is that you do not have to view it.  You do know that don't you?

To be fair, let's not act like those two have never had success together. They were called double trouble for a reason. It's up to the coaches to put them in the best position to find success. Dwill is a down hill runner, he's not going to do well running the read option.

This is why I'm not on social media.....I don't want strangers telling me I should have bought Peter Pan instead of Jif. Chosey moms chose Jif and even though my mother was a rather loose woman with men, she was a helluva stickler when it comes to peanut butter.

It is lame to go out of your way to personally insult someone on social media. That makes it personal which is lame.

I find it funny a high profile person would bother responding bc they all get the comments....

He's not the only one that does it though.

I've seen CJ blast people before. That's just the ugly side of social media. We as individuals can hide behind our computers and say whatever we feel like without any repercussions.

To be fair...what is the point of referring to what a 31 yr old NFL RB did over a half decade ago?

I mean there really is no difference in that and saying Jake should of played the entire 2009 season bc of what he could do in 2003.

Experience

By this logic if it were up to you, Decoud would be starting over Boston then. It's the same drop off in talent just at different positions.

A big reason why we're where we are right now is because of the play by the young guys. Experience doesn't make up for speed, decisiveness and willingness to fight through contact.

Like PhillyB said, after Zod mentioned some things about Deangelo in the All-Pro section my view on him has changed and his act has grown old.

Experience

let's start DeCoud at S then....he has experience and Boston doesn't.

Probably should play Anderson too.

If years in the league is so much more important than present day talent....I mean why don't you want to do those as well

Incredibly different scenario.

DeAngelo has to rely on his offensive line to succeed. Outside of a decent pass rush, safety's are primarily solely responsible for his actions. Williams hasn't had the opportunity to run behind this offensive line. Give him a few carries once we're into the flow of the game and see how he reacts.

As for Fozzy, he has barely even been getting any carries. He had 7 carries in the Atlanta game due to the score. In the previous 4 games.... he's had a total of 7 carries. So in conclusion, DeAngelo isn't taking away carries from Fozzy, he's taking them away from Tolbert.

It's like some of you are afraid Dwill might contribute?  All "MOST" people are saying is that since the Oline has improved , allowing Dwill to run behind the "IMPROVED" line might be benneficial to the "TEAM".  Tolbert has been ineffective running pretty much all year but no one is hoping he never sees the field again like some of you are with Deangelo.   Because Dwill may be an a-hole in RL I can at least understand some of you guys bias.  However a few of you act like you are J Stew's agent, Girlfriend, mama.

Stewart deserves to be the starter right now.  However allowing Dwill to carry the ball is not saying Dwill is better than Stewart.  Not saying he should start over Stewart.  Not saying anything except that he may be able to contribute.  Such as his run against SF last year when the offense was stagnant.

I'd LOVE for Deangelo to contribute, but he's been done since 2012.

Any NFL back can run behind a good OL, give me a back that'll make things happen and run hard when there isn't a hole. Too many times we see Deangelo fall back and pick up nothing setting us up for a 2nd and long and then it's usually all downhill from there.

Stewart can't even run behind a bad o-line and was just as inconsistent. Before the offensive line started to take shape against Minnesota Stewart only averaged 3.5 yards per carry or more in 4 of his previous 8 games.

It's time to give the guy a chance to run behind this offensive line.

Like I said before,

60%- Stew

30%- DWill

10%- Tolbert

See this is what I'm talking about.  You know the Oline has improved and it's like you don't want him to play because when the Oline sucked he wasn't running well?  I just don't understand the Dwill hate.

Everyone always prefaces with " I used to love Dwill", or   "I'm a huge Dwill fan" but I don't want to see him play....

Stewart is the hot hand.  Let him run,  Mix in Deangelo... whats the problem??????

I have yet to see a legitimate argument except for vague "If you read what's in the all pro section" or " Well he sucked back when "Amini "FUA" Silatolu and "I make you miss bell at RT" Chandler were playing. "

One of those things I just won't get I guess.   Coaching staff is going to play him so I guess we will see.
