A win sunday would mean the first back-to-back winning seasons in franchise history

Why do you guys keep ending the season as soon as you like the record? The season was over before the playoffs but even if you include the post season, you have to wait until then end.

Winning the next game will not make a winning season, it will put the record at 9-8 season continues, if we lose the next game after that the seasons is OVER and we are 9-9. We'd have to make it to the super bowl to claim w/l with the season OVER.

Losing the super bowl puts us at 10-9. Anything else ENDS as a tie or losing season.

Not that it matters, we ended the season 7-8-1

I thought a tie counted more than just half. So apparently 8-8-1 and 9-9-1 count as exactly 50%. So, yeah, they'd have to win the NFC and finish 10-9-1 or 11-8-1 to get a winning record.

Lol ok so yea what I just said

Bro......wut?

Super bowl loss= 10-9

SB win= 11-8

Otherwise tied or losing season.

In 2006, Seahawks knocked Panthers out of playoffs in SEA. In 2009, AZ did same at BofA. Avenged one, can they avenge both in same year?

beat AZ in BOA - avenge 1/10/2009 playoff loss to AZ in BOA

beat SEA at SEA - avenge 1/22/2006 playoff loss to SEA at SEA

beat GB at GB in NFCCG - avenge 1/12/1997 NFCCG loss to GB at GB

beat NE in SB XLIX - avenge SB XXXVIII loss to NE

Only if we make it to the Super Bowl are we going to end this season with a winning record.

Winning the next game will not make a winning season, it will put the record at 9-8-1. Then if we lose the next game after that the season is OVER and we are 9-9-1. If we win, we will be at 10-8-1

So we'd have to make it to the super bowl to have winning season:

Super bowl loss= 10-9-1

SB win= 11-8-1

Otherwise tied or losing season.

Super Bowl or bust!

Lol

You can't count 9 wins out of 18 games when the scale is 16 games...makes no sense.

7-8-1 is our record people!

we win our next two games, we have guaranteed our 1st back to back seasons with a winning record, and are going to the SB on top of that!

And if we win our next game, it will be our first week in franchise history that we can say we have a winning record after playing at least 16 games, because from Jan 10 to Jan 18, we'll be 9-8-1, and that will be a glorious week, hopefully the first of many to follow!

No one ever includes the playoffs in win loss record. Ever.

Our record is 7-8-1 and I'm fine with that. You should be too. We're in the playoffs.
