This made me laugh.... (Seahawks forum link)

someone needs to print this comment and tape it to J Stews locker

I actually like Stew, local kid, nice guy, and always has been a hard runner. Before Lynch, I was hoping the Hawks would have been able to land him.

With that being said, he reminds me of a poor man's Frank Gore. I'd be surprised if he gets more than 75 yards on Saturday.

OK I checked out what he said in that thread. I don't find it too offensive. They are confident. They almost always win at home. They are a good team and have been on a roll. Didn't see any lack of respect towards stew just our team because they have already looked ahead towards "the next game" even though they have not eliminated us yet. Like I said, they are just very confident right now. Let's surprise them and then enjoy the threads after the game ☺ By the way they do have stew listed in the top 4 rbs they have faced this year.

I think I kinda made into a Stew hate fest in my OP, but I agree that they are looking past the Team in general. They seem to think that Stew is the only threat to them in the run game.

    • Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.
    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
