Thanks to first Panther Team for back to backs

. The Panthers have never had back-to-back winning seasons, but recorded their first back-to-back playoff seasons in 2013 and 2014, becoming the first team in the history of the NFC South to win consecutive division titles in the process.[1]

The Lions were in play offs for the first time in 23 years when they played Dallas and it gave me pause to see how well we really have done.

Thanks Panthers!!!!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the playoffs and the future looks bright for a team with more young talent than they've had in years.

Sadly, much of the credit for back to back playoffs goes to the our historically abysmal NFCS comrades.

Had any other team in the conference managed the mediocre achievement of breaking even, they would have claimed the divisional crown.

Fortunately for us... In the land of the blind, the one eyed man in king!

You never have to apologize for winning. When the Patriots clinch their division every year by week 12, they don't apologize because everybody else in their division sucked. We did what we needed to do and went on a hot streak winning 5 games in a row blowing out the Saints and Falcon in their stafiums.

Besides that, I think we showed some grit in the playoffs. We didn't go as far as we wanted but it didn't look like we didn't belong either.

I think ppl only care about the records. Pats & Colts always had easy divisions, but they did have double digit wins. Never mind who they played to get it.

    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
