Draft: using the Fanspeak simulator

WR JAELEN STRONG- Big Athletic ala young Boldin type WR. Strong Physical player with Strong Hands. BPA here lands us not a #2 WR but a #1B WR
ARIZONA STATE

57: R2P25

CB ALEX CARTER- Big Physical corner that fits in perfect across from Norman. Allows Bene to move to the Nickel where many say he should be.
STANFORD

89: R3P25

OT TYRUS THOMPSON- Big Strong OT who would get a good fit at the Right side
OKLAHOMA

121: R4P25

WR TYLER LOCKETT- Speedy athletic slot player
KANSAS STATE

153: R5P25

DT TYELER DIVISION
FRESNO STATE

185: R6P25

DE ANTHONY CHICKILLO
MIAMI (FLA.)

217: R7P25

FB CONNOR NEIGHBORS
LSU

FA:

Cut:
Dwill- Need to open up some $$$. His production on the field has just been nonexistent the last 2-3 years.
Tobert

FA:
Bruce Carter- No I'm not being a Homer here. Carter has Loads of talent. TD, isn't going to be here forever. Carter playing under Rivera with Luke and TD, could unleash a potential Top tier LB. Would make our LB trio the top in the league, and would slide over when TD leaves keeping a Top Duo on our roster.
LT- Have a little more $ to spend this offseason. Get a upgrade to Bell at LT. We filled the Needs at WR, DB, RT, and depth at DL. Use our Cap freedom that we have this year that we haven't had in several years to get a solid OT for the left side.
Da'Norris Searcy- Athletic Safety who has been buried in the defensive backfield in Buffalo.

I don't get all this JPP talk, he isn't playing for free next year and wants to get PAID so...

JPP is going to take a little money but expect him to get less than what Hardy was asking for. Gentleman said we're not shopping at the dollar store this year with these expiring Hurney contracts.

If we can't get JPP id say grab King Dunlap. Keep him at LT while our 1st round pick eases into the league on the right side. If that happens the 3rd round pick I have on the OT would be used bpa (WR, Pass rusher)

So you want to sign Dunlap and draft one of those tackles in the first?  I like it.  Hunter is a late 1st or early 2nd rounder so I am not sure we get him in the 4th.  Those receivers in the 2nd would be GREAT. Do not want any part of Dyer, he is an absolute punk.

Everything I have seen Hunter is expected to be a Late 3rd-4th guy.  He has loads of talent but just came out to soon ala Trai Turner at OG causing him to drop.  On top of that, with this class being deep at other positions, id expect a 4-3 style DE's to drop down the board like Ealy did last year (Ealy was projected the #2 DE and top 20 guy)

WR class is really deep again meaning there will be some Good ones in the 2nd and 3rd.

  • 3 weeks later...

He's likely a 2nd rounder; a top 2nd rounder.

I'd say he's a late 1st. He's all of Lafail size. Big Strong WR not with Burner speed but very good (I'd say a tad faster than Benjamin). The comparison to Boldin is good, he may have even better hands than Boldin to. Again would be have Cam giddy to have him opposite side of Benjamin then if you could have a guy like Greene who is a Great route runner with good hands plying that 3rd WR role the way Proehl did. We would be set at WR for our franchise QB to grow with the next several years.

We also just added another guy to Help coach the WRs, which makes this scenario even better considering we have a ton of help to focus on these 3 young talented WRs who will be here growing with our franchise QB we will be locking down.

I agree.

I just don't think he'll crack the 1st bc this is such a deep class at WR.

(1) Cooper

(2) Parker

(3) White

(4) DGB

(5) Strong

(6) Funchess

etc.

The first 3 on that list will go earlier. No Way our organization grabs DGB. Some do think Strong could get pushed to the top of the 2nd.........but many of those people were also saying the same thing last year with KB in that deep WR class. If the top 2-3 OTs are off the board. I think our best bet is bpa at a position of need which would so happen to be a WR like this who would be a top 15-20 guy in some drafts. Giving Cam 3 young Very talented WRs that will be here together for awhile and grow/gel with Cam in addition to adding that extra coach to help at WR to focus Hard on developing these talented players. Would be Huge for a QB who the organization that plans on locking up long term and investing in

That to.  But I think the biggest thing about this is just you are going have 3 Very talented young guys and another potential project along with 2, yes 2 guys focused on coaching these guys.

Also all young guys in their rookie contract, they will not be going anywhere.  Meaning you are going to have a Stacked young  WR group who will be here the several years to work with Cam.  Not some FA that may only be here 1-2 years.  All will Grow and develop a good bond and timing with Cam who will be our locked up Franchise QB.

As stated once those top 2-3 OT go off the board, the guys remaining are Less likely to turn into a franchise LT.  Use some of that cap space on a guy who has at least proven something in the league, use one of the later rounds on a solid RT and we have instant upgrade.

We could dink and dunk teams to death with kb, strong, green,Olsen

    • They recently loosened the criteria for participation.  I thought we would eventually HAVE to participate, which the NFL CAN force us to, but the pool of eligible teams refreshes faster than I thought. Let's hope our lack of popularity keeps us out.
    • The Grand Design: Super Bowl → State Dinner → Shadow Government The logic is bulletproof: Buy NFL team. Craft a team around a perfect QB pawn: Bryce Young. Use the 2025 draft to fine-tune a destiny machine. Win Super Bowl = Instant nationwide popularity. Enter the political arena—not as a candidate, but as the King’s Whisperer. Tepper doesn't want to be president. That’s too visible. Too expendable. He wants to be the next Dick Cheney—the man behind the throne, pulling strings while smiling like a harmless finance bro. 🧠 5D Chess Pieces in Play The Draft: Every 2025 pick was an engineered piece of a grander ritual. Not team-building—trust-building. Public opinion ops dressed as player development. Bryce Young: Not just a QB—he’s a charisma vector. A polite, composed, likable superstar. Tepper’s golden key to mass appeal. Charlotte: A mid-sized city perfectly positioned for grassroots national influence. Not too red, not too blue—a neutral staging ground. 🕴️ Enter: George Soros (Again) Tepper’s financial playbook may have started on Wall Street, but Soros handed him the map to geopolitical influence. The Soros Foundation allegedly partnered with Tepper to fund performance labs, voter psychographics research, and political access modeling disguised as “sports science.” Some claim the Panthers’ analytics team shares a VPN server with a think tank in Brussels. Some say Bryce Young’s visor is wired to measure public sentiment. All we know? The results are working. 🤝 The Trump Connection When Bryce Young lifts the Lombardi in early 2026, who’s the first person to call him on national TV? Donald J. Trump. You think that’s a PR stunt? No. It’s a symbolic handshake between the past and the future. Trump loves winners. Tepper becomes the "NFL guy he can trust." He’s invited to Mar-a-Lago. Brought into “economic discussions.” Suddenly? Tepper is sitting in on defense briefings and no one questions it. 🧙‍♂️ The New Dick Cheney Dick Cheney never ran for president. He just ran the presidency. That’s Tepper’s endgame. Let someone else hold the mic—he’ll control the teleprompter. Football got him in the room. Bryce Young kept the cameras rolling. Now the 2025 draft seals the ritual. 🏆 THE CLOSING MOVE Super Bowl LVIX isn’t just about rings—it’s the activation event. Bryce Young becomes the golden boy of America. The Panthers become a dynasty. David Tepper becomes... untouchable. By 2027, he’s no longer just an owner. He’s rewriting foreign policy through brunch meetings. He’s redrawing zoning maps and geopolitical alliances. He’s Dick Cheney in a tailored Panthers hoodie, holding the Constitution in one hand and a Lombardi in the other.
    • PFF Quarterback Rankings: All 32 starters ahead of the 2025 NFL season Bryce Young coming in at #20 PFF sort making the argument in their QB rankings that their indepth stats aren't the end all be all.   20 seems about right though.
