Deflate-Gate: Patriots Being Investigated For Deflated Footballs

Recommended Posts

Exactly, 45-7! People just dislike the Patriots, in the words of the fictional character Kim Jong Un, "They hate us because a they ain't us!".

And that's what I read from many of my fellow Panther's fans. It's relatively easy to view this objectively but many of you have already formed your opinion on the Patriots since that 2003 loss.

just to be clear...I hated the Pats before 2003.

Everyone found out about "Spygate" after the 2003 Super Bowl loss, so of course people will jump all over this as just another example of the Patriots being who they really are and proving that all that they've accomplished is fraudulent. The problem with most people is they can't understand that all forms of "cheating" are not created equal.

There was one ball on the field each play. The ball didn't prevent the Colts defense from showing up. and playing with a regulation-size ball isn't what stopped the Colts' offense from scoring more than 7, therefore, I can't really care about it too much whether or not it's true.

If they had just beaten the Panthers, I'd still be saying the same thing. Anyone who thinks I'm lying, must have no clue why they dislike me so much. Of course I would be.

I would prefer that people accept their spanking like a 4 year old, and move on. Test the balls if you want but 45-7 isn't a fluke, especially given the Colts history against the Patriots since Luck has arrived. The result shouldn't be any more surprising than the Seahawks come back.

Maybe you don't realize that I don't give a sh*t about the Colts or the Pats and apparently can't grasp a very simple concept. Regardless, enjoy the Patriots win Panther fan.

I agree the lack of play from the colts was ultimately the deciding factor. But it still doesnt change the fact that the pats had to find a way for an advantage other than jus beating them fair and square.

So the point you are trying to make is that if you cheat, AND you manage to blow out the other team, you can claim that your cheating is somehow “not equal” to other cheatings, because you would have won anyway?

I think you have allowed your opinion to get a little twisted there unfortunately. What determines whether you cheat or not is the intent, not the outcome. The Patriot’s had every intent of purposely deflating balls, therefore they are cheaters. Period.

If they are proven guilty. Billicheat should be banned from the game, forever. The guy looks for ways to get by. History shows when he cheats they win. Prior to tapegate the Cheatriots were 10-0 in the playoffs. After (prior to the start of the 2014 playoffs) they were 8-8.

And since this is there second offense. They should lose all draft picks. Maybe even given to the teams they cheated against.

Dude offensive.

Straight R rated, flag on the play.

The score was 45-7. And for the record, Presbyterian hospital downtown, mint hill, Independence High, US Marines,

Panthers all the way. If its found they deflated the balls they will lose draft picks.

But hanging 45-7 on deflated footballs is for losers and cowards.

Where did I claim that's the reason they lost? Doesn't change the fact cheating is cheating.

Not sure what the marine comment is about as if thats supposed to mean something.

    • My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us
    • Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough
    • I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
