Player evaluation has everything to do with BPA. How do you rank your draft board without it?

BPA is a philosophy, while evaluation is a process. Whether you pick by need or the best player available you better be able to pick the Manning's from the Leafs. In other words your wrong, I have proven that, now all I leave you with is a round hole and a square peg. Its your choice if you wish to continue.

For 10 million you get a punt returner and 2 solid 3 and 4 Wr .. Maybe one becomes a 2.. I don't think that's a bad deal.

Doesn't work for me, but illustrates one of the reasons why I'm happy Gettleman is in charge now.

Gettleman actually understands how to value players, and refuses to pay above where he thinks their value stands. That's an excellent practice, and should help keep us in a good place for the future.
