Report: Darrelle Revis Signing With The Jets

 

The agents for CB Darrelle Revis announced Tuesday night that he’s returning to New York and signing with the Jets.

 

Darrelle Revis was asking teams for $40 million guaranteed. Jets' deal 5-year, $70M deal. Includes $39M FULLY guaranteed, $33M in the first two years

 

Revis, 29, recorded 47 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery and 14 pass defenses over the course of 16 games. Pro Football Focus has Revis rated as the No. 4 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players

Any team needing a QB and has the money. Cam is a good QB who has not been given WR help and there is a lot of teams out there who would offer him in a heartbeat compared to what they have now.

Tarheel can you name a QB that has done this (left a team over roster moves). I'm not saying it hasn't happened but I can't think of one.

 

 

Nope not recently but teams are smart enough in the NFL to at least attempt to build around their star QBs though so it doesn't happen with most franchises.

I do not know which teams will have salary cap room so no I do not know but I do know teams would NO DOUBT offer him contract in a heart beat.
