Timberwolves: just what the doctor ordered

With the Hornets reeling as of late, we need a W to stop the bleeding in the worst way. Cue the dink and doink entrace music. Here come the Timberwolves. Not to mention that the Cavaliers play the Bucks, the Thunder play the Heat and Detroit and Boston play each other.

If the Cavs and thunder take care of business and the Pistons manage to get over on the Celtics - we just need to knock off the lowly Wolves to get back in the playoffs after a terrible road trip. Please let this happen oh great Basketball gods!

Agreed. fug it, tank and try to get passed by a team or two. Get a top ten pick and start again next year. I always want the Panthers to make the playoffs because you don't have to be the best team just the best team of two on one day. It's different in the nba. We'd be lucky to win two games much less a championship this year.

Kevorkian? Because this skid started with a loss to a Kings team that ended up sweeping us in games we had to have. And even if we win here, still have to go to Chicago and then face Brooklyn at home. There's a chance Brooklyn might actually be ahead of us at the end of that stretch.

    • OK, we are letting our top RB go.  We have Chuba, Etienne, and Brooks.  Imagine a player who could LEGITIMATELY play the slot and back up at RB?  I am sure he'd be a special team player as well.  I noticed him at the combine, and thought, "Here is a late rounder who could stand out as a slot and provide depth at RB. Without further ado....(I know one Huddler who might be able to tell us more about this guy): Navy running back/wide receiver Eli Heidenreich headlined the 2026 NFL Combine for the Midshipmen, running an official 4.44-second 40-yard dash and recording 16 reps on the bench press. Recognized as a versatile, "Swiss army knife" offensive weapon, Heidenreich solidified his draft stock as a potential day three target.    Eli Heidenreich (RB/WR - Navy) 2026 Combine Performance: 6'0" 200 lbs.   40-Yard Dash: 4.44 seconds. 10-Yard Split: 1.55 seconds. Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches. Broad Jump: 10' 0". Bench Press: 16 Reps. Highlights: Showcased as a premier receiving threat from the backfield, having left Navy as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards (1,994). High character.  Smart.  Maybe, just maybe....
    • These refs are horrible.  They definitely got money on this game lol.
    • I don’t think the concept is bad thinking. That money this year is a ball buster, for getting nothing out of it.    gives him a little future location security and maybe hope that if he can get back we’ll pay him, with a renegotiation. Could give us some relief this year. That is kind of creative.
