Hot take on Cam Newton

Slighting Cam here is akin to sacrilege. I saw you crying over at RC.

Don't I know...

There was no crying. More like shock and awe. Didn't know it was even possible to get banned here. Unless you're legit trolling. Ive seen much worse thrown around here plenty of times. Apparently I just over stepped my boundaries. Lesson learned.

Aceboogie Jr. is going to do an response editorial on how Cam is the greatest QB ever, he just needs a pro-bowler at every position on the OL and 3 HOF WRs and the world will see!

Just need his primary target in the Redzone in a playoff game not come from Wofford. That's all

Who would have thought?

The way i feel about it, it was just a kid thinking like his parents. But the fact that this is a thing shows that people find bashing Cam fun. It's whatever. I just like Cam to play perfectly to see what would be said then...

The haters would just wait till he fails.

This kid reminds me of my cousin's son. He's 8 or 9 I think? He's a huge sports fanatic and can name every player on the team and all of their stats but he's not yet able to actually know what's going on.

A couple years ago he told me that he hoped we would draft Collin Cline (the Kansas player who went undrafted) and he thought Silatolu was our best offensive lineman and Nakamura was our best defensive player.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
    • His daughter's initials are CAM.  Coincidence? I think not
