i just cant wrap my head around the idea that this is it. I hope he is good but i i have no idea who he is. it is another one of those "they signed who" moments we have as panthers fans. But as we all no some of those have worked out well.

Look, Bryan Cox is a salty SOB. I wouldn't read too much into his making the guy run laps or getting in his face. That's Cox.

Its probably not a really high pick (probably a 5th rounder or maybe a 4th depending on performance). We have a team built to win now and a NT is critical for our defense. I hope he is a monster in the middle and considering he outweighs Hayden by about 35 lbs...thats a good start.

Besides, Jenks was a good player that the Cats just wanted to get rid of for other reasons not related to his ability. Not saying this guy is like Jenks at all because clearly he doesn't have that production, just that there are other things besides ability that make trades happen.

When we traded for Chris Harris, be honest, how many of you guys knew who he was? I did, but my brother is a big Bears fan.

It's pretty clear cut. We acquired a serviceable tackle with a big body that can compete for a starting position. GOOD.

All teams have to deal with injuries. And they have to find ways to overcome them while working within their limits. This is what the Panthers are doing.

They still could look at other places (cuts, player trades, etc).

The question that has to be answered is which is worse: Giving up another pick (or player) or going into the season with only what we now have at DT.
