Great Deals for Thanksgiving Game (Panthers vs Cowboys)

My wife and I , I just bought a package we created on expedia, for the Thanksgiving game. We where able to create a package going down there Wenesday- Friday that included a tour of the stadium and rental car for less than $1,000 together, minus the tickets. A company I normally use alot Broach tours is charging almost $1,000 per person for commerical flight or $1300 person for a charter flight. Anyone else thinking of going to down to Texas for this game? Where do yall plan on getting tickets?

Shame on you....

I'm going. I'm buying two spots in the RV lot (I think it's lot 14) and renting one to use for tailgating. Not sure about tickets yet. Single game tix go on sales 5/1.

Spent some time working in an airport, so here's some free advice for those going to the Dallas game. Since the game is at 4:30pm EST, fly into Dallas on Thanksgiving morning and save some money on the flight. Reason is, very few Americans fly on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day. It's always the days before when everyone is trying to get wherever, so the airlines naturally charge more before those holidays. The airfares on the actual day of Thanksgiving and Christmas are the cheapest of the year since no Americans want to travel those days. So save some money by flying into Dallas Thanksgiving morning and going to the game in the afternoon.

I'm going to try to go.  One of my buddies family lives around that area (he's a Chiefs fan).  He said he didn't care how much nosebleeds were.  So I think we're good in the realm.  Neither do it either.

They have those party section tickets for $29. I'm not sure how much of the field you will see but I hear they have a pretty big TV in the middle of the field.

What you heard is correct, you don't go to watch the game on the field in that stadium.  You go for the atmosphere.

I was being a little sarcastic - I figured you wouldn't see anything.

I wouldn't pay $29 to go hang out with a bunch of a-hole Cowboys fans who are there just to drink anyway.

Let's all do some research on tickets and get back together before May 1st when single game tix go on sale with a game plan.

They on sale at face value, where we can buy them before they all get snatched up.

    • The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market.  On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size.   TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?
    • I don’t  think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!
    • in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft .  this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint  ...just saying
