Who exactly is absolving him of blame for that?

Saying that we need to keep trying our best to improve our offense in addition to our defense certainly isn't absolving him of blame.

After the season we said there will be WRs in free agency. After free agency we said we will draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd. Now we're saying there will be a WR later in the draft. Soon we'll say a team will cut a decent veteran WR and we'll sign him.

Point is, you can only rely on your defense so much.

 

I'm not saying don't invest in defense. But if the playoffs showed us anything last year, it's that we need firepower to keep up with Seattle.

 

When the time came for the Seahawks to score points, they did. Our offense struggled. Why? You can figure it out.

 

I don't agree with this. If the Seattle game showed us one thing, it's that we need time for our young secondary to develop. Also that the Seahawks receivers can get away with a push off.

 

Our offense struggled because they were playing a great defense, and Cam tried to force a few throws resulting in INT's.

We just have to score more points than the opposing team to win games, whether its by gearing up for a shoot out(a lot of Luck plays into that) or limiting the amount of points the other team scores.

If we had a D that the most points they gave up in a single game was 10 points....how many games do we win last year?

We go 13-3 at worst with a control your own destiny type mentality.

Hence where the age old saying, Defense wins Championships

Your living in the 1960s, I bet you want a RB also? The NFL is a passing league. have you been keeping up with the rule change lately?  

 

You need an entire team to win, its going to be the same thing next year. Our offense goes three and out,  defense stays put till the 4thQ by then they are exhausted of being on the field all day, and we end up losing.
