Voth on the draft wrap up

Well you are being a dick.

I expressed an opinion.

My bad, "here on Teh Huddle do not express an opinion". got it.

What I'm saying is, if you have that opinion, great... So how do you think you would have drafted a championship caliber team had you been given the opportunity to do it differently? Seeing as the draft is a crap shoot shouldn't you hedge your bets on guys that are more likely to be sure things as opposed to drafting multiple mediocre athletes?

Simply could have made the same picks....

further down the board...

and saved draft picks...

for the 3rd time.........

And I think they could have been had further down the board saving picks.

You have a comprehension issue?

One of the things DG mentioned in his press conference was that even though he seems like a guy that would trade down at all costs, that's not necessarily the best policy.

In DG's eyes, if you have a guy on the board that you've scouted to be available at that position is there, take him, because you can't assume he will be there when you trade down.

On the other side of the coin, if you have an excess of picks you don't need to use, and you have an opportunity to go get a player that is falling based on your draft board, as Funchess and Williams did, take the opportunity and go get that player before someone else does. I opined pre draft that Dave would make a move like this for Gurley if he got to a certain point but unfortunately we never got to see that.

I comprende Amigo.

A quality DB in the 3rd round would have been advantageous however as I don't happen to subscribe to the thought that our roster is such that "we have an excess of picks you don't need to use".
