Best time of a year

I love game time but I really think this time until preseason games are really the most enjoyable time during a year for me.

I have tons of positive news from our draft picks and see how bright our future is, I don't need to worry about next game, all I can do is visit the huddle to read some write ups by Jeremy and enjoy some practice photos.

This is great time.

I kind of understand the notion, but gameday will always be the greatest hands down of course.
No matter how many draft grades, TC notes we read it means next to nothing on gameday.

But 2 Saturdays ago was an amazing sports day,
Highly Anticipated fight
Draft Day
NBA Playoffs.
Some baseball might have even been played that day IDK

That weekend was great. The draft Thursday/Friday/Saturday then that Spurs/Clippers game 7 which was amazing and the fight was still good (I was expecting exactly what happened so it was still enjoyable to watch for me as a boxing fan. Nothing compared to tonight's Alvarez-Kirkland fight or the Jennings-Klitschko fight I was at a few weeks ago, but still a solid way to top off an exciting few days sports-wise).

    • Gotta wonder if Smitty's brain has turned to mush with how hard he played in the NFL
    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
