Rumor has it we really like him and might move around to get him.

Have said it before but Al for Gerald Wallace + 16 would be ideal. Alternatively, Celtics apparently like a guy like WCS so they could be an ideal candidate to move to 9. Lots of interesting options potentially especially given what transpired yesterday.

I would love to trade back and pick up some extra picks or players to draft RJ Hunter. I really think he has potential to be the next Klay Thompson in a couple of years. Golden State showed us that you can now win a championship with jump shooting teams. It's time that we build and draft well so we can finally compete.

The caveat here is I would only try to trade back if Super Mario doesn't fall to us. Booker, Hunter, Oubre, etc are all big reaches at 9 and we need all the assets we can get.

I like him.  He really stood out in the Tourney.

Looking at his numbers, his shooting percentages went pretty far down last year.  His first two years hovered around 45% FG and last season was 39%

2012/13: 2PT: .513    3PT: .365

2013/14: 2PT: .523     3PT: .395

2014/15: 2PT: .488     3PT: .305

Although he did take a huge spike in attempted shots so that factors in with him carrying that team.

I saw Mario going as high as 5th to the Kings who are in need of another wing. If he doesn't go at 5th he definitely will be gone by the time Detroit picks.

Another wing? That's all they've drafted for the past three years! It's like us taking Kaminsky.

That said, they are the Kings, so they'll take Mario.

    • Bryce is like Jerry Seinfeld.  Bad jokes, very limited on screen charisma, and a bad actor.  But they surrounded him with the greatest supporting cast of all time (writing included) and you can name the show after the guy.  Unfortunately QB does not work that way.
    • I just feel like TE is an excuse to the BPA rule, unless you really just have NOBODY at TE, which I personally don't feel is the case for us with the 3 we have right now. Even if you were to say a TE was our actual top ranked player on the board when our 1st round pick is on the clock, I can't see it being such a big gap between him and players at positions of more of a need to where it's then a dumb decision to not take the highest ranked player left on the board. Because yes, a game changing TE can really change your team, but at the same time, it also is the least important position in today's game, since realistically the best TEs are really just big WRs these days anyways, so if you have a good enough WR (and RB) room, TE becomes less of a need. I also think if Coker and Horn Jr pan out, XL could be used in more of a TE type of role where we line him up in the slot and hope to get favorable matchups against smaller DBs or slower LBs.
