2014-2015 NBA Schedule Release Discussion

Warriors have 25 nationally televised games, so now everyone can watch them and come here and tell me all about how they are only good in the regular season. We also have a league-high 20 back-to-back games, which sucks.

This thread isn't burning the Hornets, it's simply an open discussion on the schedule for this upcoming season.

So please don't get angry I used the W-word here. And good luck in this upcoming season!

Cheers!!

Glad you're back but dang, this is the most insecure post coming off a championship ever! So much shade!

You won a championship. The West ended up beating itself up and every starting point guard the Warriors faced was injured during each series (Cleveland in particular was just LeBron and scrubs) but at the end of the day, history will only remember the Warriors won a championship and they were fun.

Also, welcome to the awful world of having a ton of back to back games! It does suck!

As for the Hornets, another start like last season where the team takes months to gel and I could easily see Cho and possibly others let go (I think Clifford, like him or not, has a longer leash than Cho does at this point.) Between this very real possibility, the Panthers full of optimism right now, and the sting (PUN) of being so let down last season, I'm taking a  wait-and-see approach with the team this year. That first month will tell us alot.

    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!

    • Icky has had a great year. He only struggled last game because he got hurt before halftime.
