Bottom Panthers PFF Performers - Preseason Week 1

I'm slightly concerned about the DE position overall.  We know CJ is gonna beast, but everyone else looked pretty darn awful.

But, not gonna panic after one preseason game.  Especially 3 of our 4 starting defensive linemen didn't play a single snap.

Charles Johnson didn't do anything spectacular until his third year, and even then he wasn't the stud he is now. Give Ealy time. He's got a great cast of players to work with and learn from.

Same discussion fans had about Everette Brown, Sione Fua, and Terrell McClain for a couple seasons. All 3 are still in the NFL filling reserve rolls for other teams who keep passing them around.

So, 1 to 2 more seasons of trying to make him work until he is rejected by the fan base.

oh give me a break.  Ealy had more than half as many sacks as a rookie as Everette brown did in his entire career

I always find these threads hilarious because moat people's misconceptions about PFF are pretty funny. Not even hard to find/figure out how their grading works and how to actually apply it(context).
