Game three is the one where the starters stay in the longest. In game four, starters may not play at all.

If you're looking for guys like Brandon Wegher to get chances against the ones, it might be tough sledding.

With Brockel banged up and the constant of Stew's injury concerns, the backfield is one place I could actually see guys like Wegher/Ward getting some time this year in Game 3.  Especially if tough cuts are to come, give everyone some touches and let the play on the field decide things.

I agree with Mr. Scot on this.  I would love to see how some of these young guys stand up to the pistraiots, however, it will not happen.  Still, we can wish for it and maybe, just maybe, a couple will get the chance.

With the injuries and unsettled state at certain positions, who knows what's going to happen?

I agree with Top Dawg. I wouldn't be surprised if Stew only gets 5 or 6 carries and sits. I get the feeling Wegher is still low man in the group, but I hope to see Fozzy, Todman and Wegher all in the first half. Personally, I don't really care if we win any preseason games at all. They need to be used for individual evaluations, and this is a great opportunity to see what these young guys bring to the table. I would like to see if Wegher is for real against 1s and 2s, especially with Ward leading the way. I hope Rivera gives them a chance, and steps away from the status quo a little bit.
