Can we once and for all retire the name "Philly"?

C'mon people, the man wants to be called Corey. That's what his mama named him. Can we call ourselves true Panther fans while we disrespect the man's wishes?

If we have no problem calling Cassius Clay "Mohammed Ali", or Chad Johnson "Ochocinco", then we can at least call Mr Brown "Corey"! HP! (holy poo!)

That is all....back to your regularly scheduled programming. :)

I don't know. In the camp confidential ep 1, I saw someone refer to him as Philly and him not be upset about it. I refer to him as Corey on this forum but I have no idea of how he feels about it. '

He could just feel like he doesn't want to correct people anymore tho..

If it bothers him that much, he should probably change his twitter handle.

This. I've called him Corey ever since I've heard that's what he wishes to go by. But him allowing the commentators, coaching staff, etc to introduce him last year to us as Philly is kind of his fault. He should've went by Corey all along.

    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
