How To Dominate An Entire First Half, Time of Possession, Make Tom Brady Look Like poo, Get Two Takeaways, Awesome Avg Starting Field Possession, And Walk Away Losers...

This is the same coaching philosophy that has the entire board wanting this staff gone before they finally perform better with their backs against the wall.  If we indeed took this seriously and game planned, nothing seems to have changed in coaching/they didn't learn why the first half of last season was so abysmal.  We will see come the regular season.

Nice reactionary thread.

If I was just singling out Brown, I guess that would be okay, right? Or if I was drinking any other kool-aid out there blindly circle-jerking at the altar of our omnipotent front office, then that would be cool too.

If reactionary means tired of seeing the same poo for consecutive years, then yes, it's reactionary.  This game is just a microcosm of what's wrong with our offense and a history of leaving our QB hanging out to dry.

You do realize we have a starting receiver who's out for the year and a rookie who's out for this game, right?

We were the 1st organization in the NFL to sign a #1 overall pick in the Rookie salary cap era. And, we got a complete stud to boot in Cam Newton. Lucky us. However, we've wasted 4 years with a Pro Bowl level QB at a severely discounted cap rate. The Carolina Panthers failed to capitalize.

Now we have to try and compete with Cam making the going rate.

Get busy Getts, no excuses.

I also like how those who refuse to acknowledge the neglect our QB has had to endure and gotten the pure poo beaten out of him as a result of automatically try to get these discussions shut down or shrugged off as "reactionary" and therefore not worth discussing.

If you find it acceptable to do what we just did defensively and on ST, while straight up dominating Brady and man genius Belichick, and walk away WITH SIX FUGGING POINTS, then I want you to enter yourself into that fuging CTE study.  This is insane.

When was the last time you saw a WR do the poo Philly just did?

I don't understand why you would purposely co-sign wasting prime years of Cam's career when those should be the years we shave the greatest chance of winning with him.

    • The framing continues to be if you disagree with this top 10 play making….its then somehow spun as denying his improvement or hating. if you take Bryce’s career and exclude his last 2 starts……there really is no objective argument that isn’t a bottom tier starter to date. Is yeah, it’s cherry picking, recency bias and his surprising inability improvement driving it into a bit of silliness.  Literally nothing argued here except the top 10 stuff is overkill.   But it’s also the same time of year when folks can get bashed for saying Frank is a bad hire, Fitterer sucks and should be fired with Rhule, Ben McAdoo was a joke hire for a staff that forced into rejects, Rhule doesn’t know what he is doing and clearly exposed when reporters got into camp, the Sam/Baker comp and not picking one is dumb, and on and on.  Lot of frankly conservative takes are spun as wild hate this time of year.
    • Doing a little digging and it looks like PFF didn't penalize him for the XL drop during that Chiefs game.  I also think the moral of the story is most teams aren't chunking it 20 plus yards for completions multiple times every game.  Hit a couple of those and you can be one of the top "deep" ball passers that week.
    • Of course he needs to put together a full season and there is no reason to suggest he won't. His progress last year was great and unless you think he has already reached his ceiling he should continue to get better. That is why folks are excited for the first time in years. Who knows what will happen but to have a qb who finished the year playing excellently and is only going into his 3rd year, you need to be excited. At least until we have reason to think differently.
