I agree with what you are saying to a point. 

Yes we need to surround Cam with more talent, but Hurney fuged us over big time in being able to do so. Not only did he neglect to give Cam weapons other than an aging Smitty and Greg Olsen, he strapped the team cap-wise preventing us from doing so, then drafted complete poo at the WR position at the same time. 

In the short time Gettleman has been here, he's drafted two young promising WR. Neither of which are playing tonight. He was also able to rebuild the Secondary, offensive line, and Defensive line in that same time frame. 

So while the WR has been neglected to a point, it hasn't been completely ignored or hurt like it was under Hurney.

Like it or not, Rome wasn't built in a day. Next year when we have Benji back and Funchess has a year under his belt with Olsen at TE and Shula's ass is gone, this offense is going to be scary. 

So I get it, but chill dude, this is a reactionary thread because you aren't looking big picture. I'm concerned this year, but not long term.

Who said we're going to be awful record wise this season?  Who says the sky is falling?  Prou is saying we aren't putting adequate talent around Cam after Brown continues to look like crap. It's true to an extent.  It's nice to look at the positives, but hard brash somewhat reactionary critique isn't necessarily wrong.

You realize if we invested more in offensive weapons, our defense would not be nearly as dominant? We can't have both...unless you think we're spending all our draft picks on long snappers or something. So where is this 28-7 coming from, cause it would be more like 28-28.

Also we haven't left that many points on the board unless you're counting Philly's 2 drops on the same drive as a potential 14 points.

That pattern happens a lot with this coaching staff and fan base.  That's at least been consistent these past 3 or so years haha.

Damn proudiddy. You act like you can build a team overnight while in cap hell. I agree it's a shame that Cams talent has gone fairly untapped. But to blame DG for that is idiocy. No offense. 

Yes Shula is the issue. And until his head rolls, we'll never know if it's actually someone else's fault. It's quite obvious that playcalling and scheming is the biggest issue this offense has. Not lack of talent. Perhaps misuse of talent, but certainly not lack of it

Nice hyperbole there.  I didn't see anyone saying we would go 0-16.  But, as was evident last season, we will lose more than we should if the problem isn't addressed, which us why I brought it up. 

Secondly, being happy because you "hung" with a world champion is for sugar chugging Losers.  Everyone gets a trophy and you get to ride your own unicorn home to the rainbow lollipop castle when the game is over. 

I say this with all due respect, but people wonder why our fanbase isn't more rabid and unwavering in their support?  Your outlook on being satisfied with "hanging" with a team that puts their pants on the same way every other team does is exhibit A.
