I still think they will consider some vets after the eagles game. That way they can see what Harris and Leonard are bringing to the table, and evaulate the sitution from there. Most importantly, a veterans salary isn't guarnteed if signed after the first week.

Good point about not having the salary guaranteed. It would make a lot of sense to wait until after the first week.

we probably won't do anything until after the eagles game, although there still is a good few days before the eagles game so anything can happen.

i just wouldnt count on it.

my guess is they want to see what they have before going out and find someone else.

There was talk a few days ago about possibly signing Alphonso Boone but I haven't heard anything about it since last Friday (9/4).

Unless something bad happened, Boone will be here....according to what I've heard.

I predicted this last week when he came for a physical. As we all know with the Mark Jones situation, that could end up not panning out either.

      Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.

      Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.

      I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
