I mean.  I'm speechless.  Who is this guy?  He did do it against a rook, but still, to put that much pressure after coming off a practice squad.

 

I have to think that the coaching staff was just throwing it up on signing him.  You get shipped around.  You are an UDFA.  You fly in and suit up immediately.  You go out and get 7 tackles and 2 sacks? What the hell is going on in the world?  You gotta think we were just trying ANYTHING, and it happened to work out.  Don't expect him to get those stats in week 6.  He'll get better competition.

He did more in 1 game than Horton all season.  This should be a wake up call for Ealy . Getty will play those who produce !

He seems like a pure speed rusher type of guy.  He either gets by his guy based on his initial burst of he gets stonewalled.  Regardless, its great to see a young guy doing anything positive from the DE position on this team and having a great speed rush is definitely something you can build the rest of his game around.

He looked great and I really want to believe but I have got my hopes up too much about guys like these balling out one game then becoming non existent after that, just kind of makes you cynical when you see a UDFA flash one game

Oh, I don't read that for the very reason you stated.  Too many drama queens.  I think it was a remarkable first day on the job--hope he has many more.
