People who wrote Jared Allen off during his first game

I had no doubts in the man, and have faith in the gettlemagic. In Jared's postgame interviews you can tell he already considers himself a panther, as Pugh he has been with us this whole season. That fat philly fan on youtube called him a "Ron Jeremy looking muthafuga, and I'd agree, except Jared Allen is physically fit.

It should be noted that Jared Allen has his great plays against a backup player for the eaglets offensive line, after a pro bowler went down. This is not to detract from how clutch he was in those final key plays. I'm glad and proud to have him as a panther.

You must be posting on mobile.

The mobile text editor has written some real zingers this year.

(my favorite is when it strings the same word together four times)

Amazing....

Actually he was doing his job.   I seem to remember he actually dropped off into coverage a few times.

Then again, he must have done that on his own since you think his ONLY job is to apply pressure.

You don't play, you have no idea what his assignments are.

Allen was an outstanding addition to this team.

I don't need to play or need to know the play call to know his assignment. A DE has three possible assignments on passing plays. 1. Rush the passer, 2. Drop into coverage, 3. Play contain against a scrambling threat. Bradford is not a scrambling threat in anyway so his only possible assignments were to rush the passer and drop into coverage.

He played 78/83 defensive snaps. The Eagles dropped back to pass 51 times. He dropped into coverage at the most 6 times. That means he rushed the passer at least 40 times, 30+ of which were against a backup scrub. He should generate more pressure than 1 sack and a couple hurries in 40 pass rush snaps against a backup LT.

I would rather gotten Alshon and roll with the kid we picked up from Tampa Delaire but aight....

Delaire struggled quite a bit against Lane Johnson which is understandable as Johnson is one of the best RT's in the NFL. Johnson did a very good job of keeping Delaire's speed rush outside and behind the pocket. I suspect he'll do much better against the Colts though who do not have a OT as athletic as Lane that can keep up Delaire's burst off the line.
