Well, at least on DirecTV. Whadda ya all think about that? Do you get the channel on cable? Pisses me off because Comcast is now keeping Versus off DirecTV. So, since they have exclusive rights in the US for their games, there are a bunch of games that can't be shown on DirecTV even if you do pay for Center Ice.

It gets more interesting...Versus I believe had exclusive rights to the first 2 rounds of the playoffs this past season....so, does that mean that there will be no playoffs until the conference & stanley cup finals on DirecTV?

A buddy of mine is really pissed and has called DirecTV (who had no answers for him) and emailed Bettman. Bettman hasn't replied but he has in the past, so my friend expects he'll get an answer sooner or later.

Whadda y'all think?

Oh, those of you who don't lile the sport....spare me the "people still watch hockey" replies. This is in the hockey forum so STFU....no one made you read this.

Since Versus has routinely and intentionally avoided any and everything Carolina Hurricanes related, I couldn't care less.

Wow....I just checked the schedule and was surprised to see not one Carolina game scheduled.

To be honest, I never watch games on Versus unless it's the playoffs.

Well.....this year you won't be watching them if you have DirecTV unless some sort of deal gets worked out OR the NHL directs Comcast to make the games available for everyone via Center Ice.

FSS is where its at

FSS can't carry games that Versus has exclusive rights to.....as I just posted, it won't mean dick to Canes fans as they have none of theirs scheduled for the reg season...but if they make the playoffs, FSS can't broadcast the games. Youse might be bitching then.....unless you get Versus on cable or DISH.

Only problem with FSS here is all I get is Thrashers games, so doesn't help me much. They need to get this VS thing fixed, then at least I will be able to see a few more games. They are not going to sucker me in to buying center ice, I think I already give them too many of my paychecks during the year, plus paying for Sunday ticket.

I hope they get a deal done but honestly, I don't think they could pay Comcast enough. That's how Comcast wants it. I just don't know WTF Bettman is thinking. DirecTV accounted for something like 25% of Versus available viewers. You'd think for a sport that struggles to get TV exposure they'd not be cutting out millions of households.

I ain't gonna be real friggin' happy to miss the first 2 rounds of the playoffs if they don't work something out.

Versus is gone. Sweet, maybe it will take the Hurricanes and NHL with it.

Just so you know, I was going to keep my thoughts to myself til you got all bada$$ with the "STFU". Just sayin.

      I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
