I wish our team would assemble a gospel singing group. We could forever end the "you can't win with a bunch of choirboys" narrative. It would be just so damn..literal.

And Stew could play the piano accompaniment.

Wrong again.

There were plenty of people well ahead of the domestic violence issue who recognized that Hardy was kind of a dimwit.  His speeding, his motorcycle accident, his awful rap videos and his contract demands and other stuff were mentioned.

Now, most people were willing to forgive it until it turned toxic, and now it has.  What you're seeing in Dallas now is what Hardy's like in an environment that doesn't have people holding him back from his own stupidity.

Would have been a good post had you not started it with "wrong again," just to be an ass.

No one hated Hardy before the domestic violence.

And nothing he did before that defining moment made him a "cancer" in the locker room, which was the original point.

People may have said, "that Greg Hardy is a strange guy," or, "man he is an idiot," but everyone hoped we could afford him because he got to the QB.

It's easy for people to sit on their high horse and say, "I knew all along that this this and this..."

Hardy isn't here because of domestic violence. If that didn't happen I seriously doubt that "poor rapping skills," would have been a topic of discussion during contract negotiations.

Except you are wrong, again.

Bill Voth reported a long time ago that the franchise tag offer on Hardy was meant as a one year rental and the team didn't want him back after that.

Nobody here actually saw what Hardy was like inside the locker room. But the team did, and what they saw, they didn't want to keep long term.

Now, unless you want to claim that you have better inside sources than Bill Voth, there's not much rebuttal for that.

We are miscommunicating. From the beginning I have been talking about FAN opinion. Now you bring up Bill Voth.

Also you started by saying "wrong again," yet again, showing a lack of respect.

I'm moving on. I'd appreciate if you did too.

Your premise has been that Greg Hardy never had any issues until the domestic violence thing came up.  I've shown you that wasn't true.  And the appeal to "fan opinion" basically means you want to stick with a less informed source.  Don't blame you there given that I doubt you can argue against Voth.

Wrong again.

  • You haven't told me anything I did not know.
  • Fans did not consider Hardy a "cancer"(my main issue) before the media distraction of his domestic violence, but say they did to make it seem like they "knew all along."
  • Fan opinion was the whole point of this, so Bill Voth and front office opinion are irrelevant.
  • Bill Voth is only a "more informed source" pertaining to the front office and the organization in general, which was not the topic of discussion.

I really do not know how to make it any clearer for you. Congrats on using "premise" in a sentence, and pretending that referencing Bill Voth irrelevantly makes you more correct.

Seriously just so everyone knows, I am not a woman beater or a supporter to those who are.

It just gets on my nerves when people cast someone as inherently evil because of one terrible decision, especially in the "Bible Belt" of all places. Very hypocritical.

I would not be surprised if there were members of this very forum that have put their hands on a woman, yet justify their own actions. They, however, are not under the media microscope like Rice, Hardy, etc.

If Greg Hardy is not remorseful, one day he will get what's coming for him. At least that is what I believe.
