Jeff Garcia

apparently im the only one who thinks this, but i LOVE the way Garcia plays. IMHO he is extremely under-rated. He won't be a long term fix to anyones team but he is deff a viable option for the present for most teams. No, he won't fit into this system so Im not hoping he comes here but if by some chance he does, it deff can't hurt our team

You are a moron if you would rather have Joke Delame than Jeff Garcia. Jeff won't lose us a game single handedly unlike the scrub we have now.

You are a moron if you think Jeff Garcia will win a game for us singlehandedly, unlike the scrub we have now. (And that saying something considering I've been flaming on Delhomme since yesterday)

Dude was poo in every non WCO team he's been with. He got BENCHED for Joey Harrington at one point. You also have to take into account that Tampa's offense wasn't exactly spectacular when he was with them.

I don't think he's saying he will win us games singlehandedly. I think he's saying he wont LOSE any games. With a team that runs the ball as much as we do, all we need is a QB who is not going to make a lot of bad turnovers. I'm not agreeing with him, just saying I think you misinterpreted.

    • I just read what I posted. I should have added that the fact that we didn’t have a WTF loss points to us learning how to win. It is evidence of that. Those really ugly wins, like vs NYJ and the Packers, they are losses with losers. I mean with a team hasn’t learned how to win.    That is a thing we went through in 2002, and early 2003 to begin with. Instead of losing the tossup situations, we found a way to hold on and come out with a W.  Most of the time.    I don’t know if we can sustain it I guess we’ll see.
    • The Canadian Men's team is going to be hard to beat, they are more stacked than an all-star team
    • I've watched him throw the ball away on 4th down. Are we really surprised cherry picked stats look good when he outright refuses to throw into tight windows, something literally every other QB in the NFL does. It's like saying someone in the NBA is a great shooter because of their field goal percentage - nevermind that they ONLY shoot wide open layups, refuse to shoot otherwise and average 5 points a game. Zoom out and look at big picture metrics, the complete story looks alot different - 27th in scoring (despite an above average supporting cast), 32nd in yards-per-attempt, 30th in yards-per-game.
