Approaching .500

Just a fun fact: coming into this season, we were 16 games under .500 in the history of the team (151-168-1 regular season, 7-6 postseason, 158-174-1 overall). With just four games left, we are now 170-174-1 - even if we lose a game, a Super Bowl run would place us above .500 on our team history. A Super Bowl win would be historic in more ways than one.

If we win out we end up at

174-174-1

that puts as at over .500 for the record

Thanks for looking up those stats, I'd been meaning to do it.  I knew we must be getting close.  Wow, so the TB game that I'm attending could not only get us to 16-0, but the 500 mark.  AWESOME.  Make it happen Panthers!  WIN OUT.  KEEP POUNDING.

WE BELIEVE

I'm glad you looked it up because I was thinking about this earlier today.  A 19-0 record would put us 3 games over .500, thats what an incredible season can do for you.

    • Why are Vikings fans acting like we peed in their cereal?
    • I’m actually fine with our TE group. I would like to see us upgrade at ILB, maybe safety and CB.   I think we are good at WR. I thought Corley could have been a good player but I guess he wasn’t doing good at all.   I came across this article about Corley from today. I know sometimes a change of scenery can really help turn around a player and we’ve seen plenty of players from the jets end up being good other places. I just don’t know if Corley is that guy.   https://www.newsweek.com/sports/nfl/jets-insider-shares-embarrassing-fact-about-malachi-corleys-release-2119816
    • I was really rooting for him after seeing that video about his struggles. I always thought he was a solid and underrated player.   I thought for sure he would have made the team after hearing all the hype and how he made that overthrown catch by Plummer behind the line and still was able to gain a yard or two off it. Plummer really overthrew him each time yet he was able to still not lose yards. I think he still could play in the nfl. I think he may need a few months to get into top form though. Hopefully he will get signed to another team.
