"I love that guy," said Gross. " He was one of the main reasons I wanted to re-sign here because I love blocking for him and he’s our quarterback.

I'll take the word of our All Pro OT Jordan Gross over anyone on this board. Delhomme had 0 and I mean 0 time to get comfortable in the pocket and throw the ball. This team is behind Jake and they know Jake is not done. Just wait til this week when they actually give Jake a chance and watch him shine. Lets Go Panthers!!!

ANALOGY[/b

When your old loyal dog has passed his prime, he no longer plays with you the way you remember, his eyesight is failing, he's just not the same and will never will be.....you got to put em down.

So basically we need to take Jake out back behind the stadium and well I spare you the details.

iF THE team is behind him, then dammit I AM TOO.

I dont get the info they have, or know what they know, so I will follow their lead.

I am not a coach, player, or GM.

I am a fan.

its my job to stick with my team, when its great and when its bad.

Dont forget THE REASON people are pissed is because this team IS A GOOD TEAM....

1 game is not going to define who we are...

Thats what SEASONS are for...

So when your grandpa is too old to bounce you on his knee or your grandma is too arthritic to bake you your favorite birthday cake, it's time to give ole' Doctor Death a ring, right?

What a stupid analogy.

I w a s b e i n g s a r c a s t i c , Jake's done and i'll put it out there if somehow he turns it around good for us, i'll eat crow, but my team's quarterback is ruining my team.

In dog years Jake is between 4 and 5 years of age. Hardly past his prime. But like even the best dog, sometimes they still have an accident.:D

Of course Gross is going to say that. Jake is a good guy. A good person. But that doesn't mean poo on the football field. On the field, Jake looks like a scared, piss poor, ROOKIE QB. He is absolute garbage and is hurting this team greatly.

dude don't insult the rookie QBs like that

    • Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.
    • Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕
    • Canales has never been part of big YAC offenses in the NFL.  That’s not his tree.  Not in Seattle, Tampa or here.  Every O he has been associated with basically has been bottom half of the league in YAC.  That’s what Bryce needs to happen though  2 very different things….and very much gets into why the middle school QB doesn’t fit
