I bet Seattle is confident going just about anywhere and they've proven they can win in the playoffs but a win would then guarantee them either a trip to Washington or a trip to Minnesota and eliminates the possibility of going to GB.

Now is eliminating the possibility of going to GB worth playing your starters for? That's some Pete Carroll can only answer but considering they lost up there is year already my guess would be yes

If I were Seattle and I was going on the road anyway then GB is the place I would want to go.  They just suck.  Washington is probably the most dangerous of the three at the moment.

Like mentioned before in a perfect world Seattle travels to GB and Minny and Washington face off in the wildcard round.

If GB were to beat Seattle than we'd get the winner of Minny/Washington.

We may be able to look back in a few weeks and realize losing yesterday might have just been the thing to have happen. A win yesterday and AZ has absolutely nothing to play for this week basically guaranteeing a Seattle victory and a trip to Charlotte.

This scenario is the best shot at getting Seattle out imo plus we'd only have to potentially face one of the big 3

I'll take my chances in Washington before having to see Rodgers in Lambeau. I know GB looked brutal yesterday but come playoff time give me the team with the weaker QB

You have a point and it could certainly backfire, but Rodgers cannot throw from his back which is where he would live with that OL.  Even if he got the ball off his WR cannot catch.  They have looked dreadful over the last two months.

I honestly can't believe just how bad GB's WR's have looked. When Nelson went down I thought for sure they'd be ok with Cobb and then Adams being in his 2nd season but wow. Without Jordy clearing the way for Cobb's underneath stuff he really hasn't been able to do much.

I don't see Seattle losing to any of those 3 other teams in the wildcard round anyway though. I just think GB would have the best shot but you're right that OL is so banged up that it might not matter what Rodgers can do.

Who would have thought Rodgers would miss Jordy more than Cam misses KB?

I agree Arizona should spank them this week.  Arizona I playing for home field and Seattle is playing for nothing.  Playoffs will be a different story.  I would pick the Cards but none of these three teams will be an easy out.

I wouldn't say Seattle has nothing to play for, they might be playing for a slightly higher seed.  Not as much motivation perhaps as Arizona has, but it is something.

    • Was at the game and NYCFC honestly outplayed CLT the whole way.  Khalina and Zaha carried the team.  Zaha's wife on IG making it sound like he's gone come July. They're going to have to pay him or find a big time replacement because the team looks like pretty lost without him.
    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
