A quote from Rivera that clears up the notion that he somehow ordered the players to play soft. A notion that had no legitimacy other than it came from people who just want to dislike Rivera no matter what.

"I really felt it was important for everybody to understand that we've got to get focused back on who we are, on the way we've done things," Rivera said. "With the way we did things for the first 14 weeks, look where we were. what's funny is I really liked that run last year, and  Benwikere was a great surprise....I mean Bene  Benwikere ? I love yelling his name at games.

So coach is veteran focused, maybe too much., but that turnaround last year is still with this team. and it really sucks I can't yell  Benwikere.

maybe he could learn to be good at playing football without having to lose his mind between plays....i always hate when guys have these crazy demonstrative celebrations after routine tackles. It's literally depleting to the athletes gas tank. Calm and collected and only help up your teammates. foxhole shiz
