not only that they just HAVE to start a new thread about it.

if you've been around here long enough you will know how annoying it is.

it's also a complete waste of bandwidth.

you will have 4 or 5 threads talking about the same thing. someone gets a pickle in their butt about something and just decides to start a thread without looking to see if it has been discussed or is being discussed now.

starting a thread in which the only purpose is to say" YEAH JAKE SUX! FOX SUX WE ARE GOING TO GO 0-16 THIS YEAR JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE!!!!!!!!!" is about as stupid as someone coming in and saying "JAKE IS TEH AWESOME!!! FOX IS GREAT!!!! WE ARE GOING TO GO UNDEFEATED THE REST OF THE YEAR!!!!" sure people have a right to say it but does it need to be said a million times and have a million threads?

Simple and extremely typical message board etiquette violation. Best fix is to simply ignore it completely. That poster isn't going to be likely to continue posting if they never get any feedback at all on his threads. The biggest mistake most of you are making is to even bother with the "ban this guy" or "we already have 38 threads on this, genius" or "real original, idiot" kind of responses. Just ignore them and they will go away or you just won't be bothered by them because you aren't paying attention.

This isn't rocket science, you're just working yourself into a frenzy over nothing.

Attacking the person, a classic surrender in debate. I accept that you have nothing to offer on the subject anymore.

Nothing of the sort, but I have learned one lesson in my time it's that less is more.

You were the first to attack the person, instead of debating the issue. Not I sir, when you refer to me as "kid" and then go into how long you have been on message boards.

And personally I'm not interested in getting into a dick messuring contest over who has been on Internet message boards longer.

Hence, why I said "lmao" and left it at that, I felt like the conversation was at it's end when you resulted to the afore mentioned reasons.

Not a slight in any way, shape or form. Just relaying that I've seen it all before in as many forms as it exists. SSDD.

But, I do appreciate your formal surrender.

I'd just like to ask, what are people trying to accomplish by coming on the forums and spouting all this 0-16 garbage? One game and they're in death throes, calling for the heads of our management and coaching....

just picture that... a huge riot infront of the stadium... people with billboards... etc lol

Well for one who has done it all, you did make it rather easy. Hell, I didn't even have to try.

Seen it all?

That's a very boastful thing to say. But I suggest you just move out of Mommy's basement and interact with the real world for a bit. That'll open your eyes.

You got caught up in a flame bait, I thought that was what he was doing and played along for the fun of it, he wasn't serious.

i dont think we have blew our chances. i think that as long as we can put a quarterback in who can just protect the football. We must run the ball. We need to ground and pound and get the men in the box to open the recievers up. then play action a lil to keep them back and wondering. Our playcaller does NOT need to go to the air. I think sometimes on some of them quick slants to smith its just mandatory they throw it his way. jake pumped his arm 4 times on a quick in slant not wanting to throw to smittie in the playoff game. i seen some slant passes that way sunday too. we just need a quarterback who is gonna protect the ball. i will say we have a shot.

    • Yeah but at least that QB would be not short.  I keep going back to the fact other than Wilson no other short QB has ever won a Super Bowl. The success rate of short QBs is very, very low. Like count on one hand low.  Yeah some people would include Brees too but I don’t consider a 6 foot tall QB short, imo.
    • I just rewatched all the highlights from after Bryce being benched. The Bryce hate needs to calm down a little bit. He showed a ton of potential the back half of the year. Same with Legette. They both made great plays when it mattered and a few mistakes when it counted. If we didn’t have a historically awful defense last year we could have ended even a bit better. Going into a brand new season we should be optimistic at least before game one. 2015 no one expected to go anywhere and the team steam rolled the league. I’m not saying that will happen, but hopefully we made strides to improve on the end of last year. Bryce put both Super Bowl teams in a battle last year and if we had a better D we could have taken them both. So at least look forward to the season and not past the season until it at least begins.
    • I’m not mad at Moehrig.  He’s great at what he does.  And to be honest, a lot of my favorite safeties in our history were box-first type guys - Maxie, Minter, Mike Mitchell, Chris Harris…  they’re first and foremost objective was to put people on their backs and coverage was secondary.  There is a place for that.  There is a definite need for that.  Physical guys that set the tone.  So cool, we have that in Moerhig. But what we have lacked for the vast majority of our existence is a true free safety that cleans everything up on the back end.  Sometimes they come in the form of a JOAT, like Peppers.  I think he would be a fantastic compliment to Moehrig’s strengths and weaknesses.  If we don’t go after him, I certainly hope Ransom is given the chance to grow and develop in real-time with real game reps, because what he did in preseason was very encouraging to see.  I hope he can grow into that roaming center fielder with a little bit of an edge to him as an enforcer as well.  He has the tools.  In the meantime, adding Peppers would only help.
