Parking for Sunday's game?

Mods please move if not relevant for this forum.

I was curious on where I should park for the game and how much I should expect to pay?  I see some prepaid parking passes on park whiz...is it worth paying $40+?  It looks like my best route of entry is through the east gate, if that helps.  Pie for any tips given.

Yes at the arena station. I get off at Carson or Stonewall when I go to games

And parking is free at Scaleybark, and the train is about $1.50 each way.  Just expect the train ride back to be super busy, but first world problems.

I would even say park behind the Y on  Morehead.  Lexington and the street beside it are free.

Decent walk but when you leave you can scoot down Kenilworth then park rd and get away from traffic pretty easily.

If you are tailgating not with the riot I would say expect to pay double regular season prices. 40-80 bucks depending on the lot. Hang out after the game with your crew and wait for traffic to die down.

We have done the train from S. Blvd and 485 and it is well worth the ride!!!

Maybe a little cramped going back but after a win it is great!

Everyday Charlotteans using public transportation to get around? It's like Charlotte is an actual city! 

The light rail is clutch. Still get hop on early; gets packed quick.

If you go the light rail route here is real tip.

Catch it behind the uptown cabaret on moorehead going TO uptown. NOT 485. Take it to the end and sit. Then when the masses get on you have a good seat on the way back to 485.
