Rage Mode

In the midst of all the discussion about the Panthers giving up a big lead to eventually close out the game up one score, a few things have been overlooked. Here, I wanna talk a little bit more about the opposite characteristic of the Panthers. It seems like this team has had a knack for scoring tons of points in short order and racking up huge leads. We also saw this against Green Bay, Washington, Dallas, and New York, to name a few. It kind of reminds me of the Monstars in Space Jam where they beat the poo out of the Tune Squad in the beginning of the game. I mean who was the last team to score 31 unanswered against the mighty Seahawks?

anyways, I'm coining this "Rage Mode" and I hope to see it again on Sunday, because it sure as poo beats letting the Cardinals hang around to me. It reminds me that we have a special group of guys who can do anything. A team that can impose their will against the opponent no matter how good they may be. It's a big reason we're 16-1. I don't have anything else to add, soooo this OP is potato.

I wish I could find something to do for a living that I'd love as much as that guy loves fuging potatoes

I wish I was as passionate about anything at all in my life as that guy is about potatoes.

That includes my marriage, family, the Panthers, anything at all really.

    • The last 8 weeks, Nix had 2,022 yards, 21 TDs, 6 INTs on 70% completions While Bryce's last 8 games he had 1,709 yards, 12 TDs (albeit adding 5 more rushing), 3 INTs on 61% completions. I'm not going to pretend I watched those Broncos games to know exactly how Nix actually looked, but in retrospect, his statistics were better.  Hell, in just his final 8 games, Nix has only 5 less TD passes than Bryce has in his 30 game (28 starts) career. And you said he had better WRs than Bryce did, but I'm not even sure that's even true either. Sutton and Thielen might be completely different types of WRs, but I'd say they are pretty equal on effectiveness if not even a slight edge to Thielen (63.6 YPG for Sutton to 61.5 for Thielen).  Then XL and Coker vs Marvin Mims and Devaughn Vale, again, at worst a push, if not lean in our favor there too. Why is it so hard for some Panthers fans to just objectively look at our team/Bryce and be honest with themselves. ? He was significantly improved the final two months of the season from his first season and a half.  But he was still a below average QB during that time, even if he had a few good throws and clutch moments.
    • The Canes physically dominated 2 of the top 16 teams in the league this calendar month. If you truly believe Florida is just that much more physical than us, then what does that say about the rest of the league? Why didn't they go 82-0 this year, if they are orders of magnitude better than every other team?
