Every time a team loses the super bowl the losing team's fans says this and holds onto it like it's real. And yeah, it never really happens.

You were probably one of the ones who said there was no way we would lose tonight until the bitter end. There are so many posters like that and its really funny to sit back and read.

Reality check is that the NFL doesn't just put you back in the super bowl. We'll likely be competitive but there are teams lining up trying to get back there and we were very fortunate to be in this spot tonight. We blew it. We likely won't be in the super bowl next season in fact I think the odds are against it.

I thought we'd win, but I certainly didn't think it was a foregone conclusion.  Every other team's fans might think the same thing but I'm basing my opinion on how our roster will improve.  We're losing nobody of consequence and even stand to improve in others through free agency and the draft.  I'm not going to take a full paper advertisement guaranteeing it, I'm just saying we've got a very good shot for the next 3-5 years.

Barring any significant injuries, I don't see any reason why we won't be back next year.  We are a young team and only getting better.  Remember we got here without KB.  We upgrade right tackle, grab another pass rushing D-lineman and we're good as gold.  Our schedule will be tougher so we won't be going 15-1 most likely but I think we'll win the NFC South for our 4th consecutive title and grab either the 1 or 2 seed.  Might as well pin this.

I could see it. It's going to be interesting having a big target on our backs now. Every team will look at a win over CAR as a statement game.

we will no doubt be competitive. If nothing else, we have proven to be a successful, class organization. I would put odds on us being back in the super bowl at some point with Cam if a gun were to my head. I just don't think it's a given we're back there next year. You need so much to go right that isn't in the control of the guys.

I'm confident, next years team will be better than this seasons.... To all the bandwagoners jumping off fug you don't let the door hit you on the ass.

I'm sure the Panthers will still be in contention next year, but it's obvious that Shula is holding this team back.

The stupidity of this statement can't be understated... They led the NFL in scoring without Benjamin.... Remmers lost this game.... Did Shula miss he fg? Did Shula drop all those passes? Did Shula fumble the ball? We need a right tackle.... The offense will be very good next season with Benjamin.... Turnovers killed us period.... That and Several unforced mental errors.

Yeah I think it's best to just start ignoring these people.  They clearly are new to football.

No they lost because they didn't switch up anything, their offense was predictable and easy to figure out. Brandon Marshall was the first one to notice this.

All the turnovers and mental errors came from Shula switching nothing up.

Turnovers don't come from not switching things up, they come from people not holding onto the ball.  If you people would actually place some blame on the players when they fug up you might get more credit from me.  You can bet the players would accept some blame here.

I would like to think so, realistically it would be two to three years. There are a lot of good teams in the NFC coming back next year. Green Bay, Giants, Seahawks, etc. plus we have some serious holes to fill.

I agree some of the unforced fumbles were strange. But Shula still made no adjustments, if he actually coached a good game and the fumbles still happened, fine. But he didn't so he gets a lot of blame.
