It all starts with the OL.  If WRs won you anything Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, and Dez Bryant would have ring.

Are line was been decent most of the season, we went against the best pass rush in the NFL of course it was going to struggle especially when your receivers can't catch a cold.

And that is the dumbest premise of all time, so cause Calvin, Green and Dez are stuck on bad teams its their fault? With that logic lets trade Kelvin and only draft linemen

Camon dude..   Weve never seen what Gettleman will do when we have legit cap room. Weve only seen him do a phenominal job when we have almost no cap room to sign players yet still remain conpetive..  3 time NFC champs at that. The notion that people believe gettleman is all cheap and conservative just for the fug of it is hilarious. Truky shows how slim of a perspective people have.

What? Not for the fug of it, but as part of his system. He likes to go cheap in FA. Do I really need to list all the cheap FAs he's brought in? Ginn. No one wanted him because he couldn't catch. Got him for cheap. Otah. No one wanted him because he couldn't block. Got him for cheap. I don't need to list all the players. Let's list the big FAs. Oh right zero.

I don't understand why fans think if I point out Gettleman likes to be cheap in FA that I also think he's doing a bad job. I think Gettleman has done a very good job overall, and you can't argue with results. Dude is cheap though. Maybe that will change in the future, but when it comes to human beings, the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. We are in better shape cap wise, but that doesn't mean is going to stop being cheap. Be prepared for cheap vets at the end of their career to be brought in, along with players who are in low demand and cheap. Anything else would be a surprise at this point even with a little more money to spend.

Get Wallace on the cheap then sure. But look what Cam did with our current set of WR's and we get Benji back. If Gettleman makes a splash in FA it will DE or oline. It all starts up front with the offense and defense and personally that is where I like to see an investment. Changes will be made to the secondary for sure but will not spend a lot. More money will be invested up front.

i don't think we can say that gettleman's free agency philosophy is to be cheap because he's had no other alternatives up until this year. we've been in cap hell and i think this off-season we'll learn more about what he thinks. IIRC just a week or two ago he even said that we can spend more now.

Gettleman was after a big time WR last season but ultimately he decided the value wasn't there. He had enough money to spend in the last FA period, but he wanted more of a bargain. Ultimately we can't say for certain what he will do, but my guess is we'll have some vet FAs on their last legs coming in along with some guys who are in low demand. I'm hoping he spends more than that, but he's doing a great job so I'm happy either way.

who? greg jennings? i wouldn't really classify him as big time. i'm pretty sure our cap room is significantly higher this year than it has been in recent years.

Gettleman wouldn't say who the WR was in the interview. I got the impression it wasn't a Greg Jennings.

You speak of logic yet in the same post you mention "are line" this is puzzling to me considering it should be "our line" there is a flaw in your logical thinking.

Nice comeback LMAO

We get it, you like the mediocre receivers we have and want Cam to keep carrying the load.
