So I wrote another book and it's my favorite thing i've ever written

Last September I began writing a historical fiction novel about the American Civil War. After a half decade of intensive, non-stop structured academic work I figured it would be nice to just sit down and write something for fun. So I did. And frankly it's the most fun I've ever had writing anything. After half a year of writing and editing it's finally done.

Killing Freddie Mercury is a historical fiction novel. It's set in the oft-ignored western theater of the civil war. It is full of violence and revenge, and not for the faint of heart. If Tarantino wrote a book about the civil war it would be this book.

p.s. the cover is incomplete - @bLACKpANTHER was kind enough to provide me with a graphic as a base, but the folks over a fiverr have been less than accommodating when it comes to producing quality graphic finishes. I've got them working on fixing the cover art to remove some of that ugly noise around the horizon, which is appallingly bad, frankly.

I don't know if I could get past the name Freddie Mercury.  I literally laughed out loud when I read the description.  All I can picture is a randy homosexual marauder with a wicked mustache charging into battle atop his sequin bedecked destrier.

Bought it. Could have read it for free I think, but I figured I'd pay the $.99. I will read it as I have time.

I wrote a book once. It fuging sucked, so I have a lot of respect for writers.

Ever read Guns of the South?  Freddie Mercury is a time traveler who goes back in time to help the Southern Army "Rock" the northern armies.
