but the Aliens cast will be in Houston in June. Oh my lawd....I've never-ever spent money to meet a celeb, but Aliens is one of my favorite action films of all time. Yes I rate it above Terminator 2.

  • Ripley - check
  • Newt - check
  • Hicks - check
  • Hudson - check
  • Burke - check
  • Vasquez - check
  • Drake - check
  • Bishop - check

btw, Kate Beckinsale & Eliza Dushku will be there also....mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Has anyone else shelled out cash at one of these conventions to meet a celeb/writer/artist?

Spent 20 bucks to get a picture signed and meet Malcolm McDowell a couple of weekends ago in Charlotte. I like doing it but I'm generally not a big fan of autograph shows, they have taken over the con business and the guests have really jacked up the prices as it's become almost a full time business,

I've never been to any of these, I don't know anyone "IRL" that would go with me.   I was working at a job once where we wanted to go to the west coast Comic Comic but I left and we lost touch (one of the guys helped coordinate DragonCon here ever year I think).

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
