I honestly would rather sign Hardy on a one year reasonable deal and extend KK and Short than to have kept JNo. And I loved him as a player and to what he brought to the team.

DE is still a need IMO. Leon Hall and Antonio Cromartie are still available as veteran CBs.

Not saying we will do it, but Hardy is far the best player left we could sign in FA for this team this year.

A team like the Seahawks or Patriots will eventually sign him to a next to nothing deal and people will hail it. Why not the team that drafted and developed him?

Sure he's long been considered agent scum but Drew has been VERY outspoken in support of Greg.  While distancing himself from Manziel.

What he did was wrong.     At this stage though......... People do not want him to ever be able to work again.   That fuger could get a job at McDonalds and there would be a couple people standing outside with signs,  demanding that he be fired.

The mob mentality didn't take place until after espn and nfln started airing the "Hardy = Devil" story line 24/7.          During week 1,  he was only somewhat of a minor topic. 

 

I would gladly welcome Hardy back.         The only reason he is still out of work is because teams are afraid of the media.    Whichever team picks him up,  will be slammed by espn, nfln,  around the clock.  That was even too much for Jerry Jones to handle.

Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones officially ruled out the idea of re-signing veteran DE Greg Hardy Friday night, per Todd Archer.

Dallas has indicated that they were likely to move on, but this is the first direct confirmation from the team.

I really doubt JR would go for it.  We also have two starting DEs as well as some talented back ups. I just don't see where he fits.

The only thing that would stop him from being the all time single season sack man would be our other DL studs taking some of his numbers away.  He would be by far our best DE and a motivated Kraken would have double digit sacks bound by shackles and chains with this DL.

We would literally have the greatest front 7 of all time.
