It's fairly obvious you ARE one. So, to give you "value", you say you don't want to argue with someone is so obviously a Marvel Fanboy, then go on to gush about DC. Pot calling a kettle black, man.

Now, no "value": defend the Green Lantern movie. Go on.

I like both DC and Marvel. Comparing them is retarded.

DC looked great with the first two Nolan Batman films, but number three went off the rails.

Making Superman dark and gritty was a huge mistake. Man of Steel just wasn't good, and it's well known that BvS was crap.

And Green Lantern? Mother of...

It's pretty well known now that DC blew the pacing trying to catch up on the miles long lead that the MCU has. They'd have done better to be patient, but patience went out the windowwhen they saw how much money Marvel was making.

And all of that doesn't even address the boondoggle of putting Zack Snyder in charge (yikes).

As much as I love Marvel films like Iron Man, the MCU is all quips and fun. They barely touch on collateral damage, consequences and other darker elements from the comics. I don't blame Marvel and Disney either since they appeal to wider audience.

The entire premise of Civil War was based on collateral damage and fallout from it. That was also a pretty significant subplot of Age of Ultron.

BvS wasn't bad, it wasn't great, but it was decent.   The scenes felt like they were stuck together with tape instead of a good flow.  I think Affleck is a good Batman, honestly the casting wasn't bad all around.   Luther is questionable and I held out hope till I watched it.   I feel Batman and Superman became bro's way too fast at the end.  The whole end felt really rushed honestly.   And the end boss was pretty terrible, bad CGI and LoTR looking troll.   The movie COULD have been great but it just felt off.   It wasn't bad, by saying that you are putting it in F4 category and that's not fair, at all.   I watched the R version too fyi.

oh you mean how Batman thought Superman was this huge threat to mankind that HAD to be stopped.....then all Superman does is say his mom's name and suddenly it is like that scene in Step Brothers where they suddenly became best friends.

    • https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46683459/2025-nfl-offseason-tiers-32-teams-best-worst-signings-trades-draft-barnwell Slightly above expectations Highlights: Trading WR Adam Thielen, signing RB Rico Dowdle (one year, $2.8 million), drafting fifth-round TE Mitchell Evans   Disappointments: Re-signing CB Mike Jackson (two years, $10.5 million)   The Panthers chose the right time to move on from Thielen, who had been productive in Carolina before being dealt to Minnesota just before the season. He has been lost in the shuffle there. While the Panthers won't see the fourth-round pick that forms the bulk of the return for Thielen until 2027, getting out from what was owed to a player who has 47 receiving yards in Minnesota is an easy victory. Dowdle has been a revelation since moving into the starting lineup after Chuba Hubbard's injury, becoming one of a handful of players in NFL history to produce consecutive 200-yard scrimmage games. The former Cowboys back was averaging 3 yards per carry before the opportunity, so I'm not sure I would count on him playing like Jim Brown the rest of the way in a rotational role alongside Hubbard. But it's hard to argue that Carolina hasn't already gotten its $2.8 million worth out of the 27-year-old back. Most of Carolina's biggest moves are either tracking to be right around expectation (drafting wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan) or have been impacted by unexpected injuries (signing defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton). Jackson was a pleasant surprise as a starter in 2024, and he hasn't been terrible this season, but most of the big plays against Carolina have come on throws against the former Seahawks cornerback. Overall, though, this has been a very reasonable offseason for the Panthers
    • How would you have taken the guy who was picked ahead of us? That makes no sense.
    • I am not denying that things were said. That wasn’t my point. But carry on this will go nowhere.    Oh snap, the post calling him a liar was like three posts before you jumped in.  what do you get, a post a page?
