Ward admits they targeted Cam

They will definitely have a couple fines (and we probably will too).

I've read some articles saying we could lose draft picks and get major fines for not taking cam to evaluate for the concussion protocol at the end of the game.

The Broncos should lose draft picks and face suspensions for admittedly targeting a player and admitting to using their helmet as a weapon. That's bad PR for the NFL who is trying to prove that they care about player safety considering the players don't care about their own safety.

This is something I haven't seen posted but they clearly went low on Benjamin, not to tackle him as they didn't go for his feet, but to test his knee. I saw at least 4 instances where a Broncos defense attempted to take KB down by way of targeting his knee instead of trying to trip him up at his feet.

I'm sure there will be gif's of it somewhere but that poo pissed me off as soon as I saw it.

I noticed that too. The league has to do something about Denver. You can't allow them to play like this.

Unfortunately, they can and will.  I doubt anything will come of this from the league office.  I hope I'm wrong but I'd bet I'm not.

Yeah, I have little faith in them as well but there needs to be something done. You can't have players out here targeting and trying to injure on every play. Something other than heavy fines should come of this. The league is all about player safety until you're a 6'5" 260 quarterback I guess.

I was going to say, maybe a fine or some meaningless punishment would be imposed at the worst.  But that's it.  My guess is there won't be suspensions or anything.

I know it's not the thing to talk about but I'm starting to believe it.  Was Steve Young treated more as a RB than a QB with his calls?  I know it was a different time but many people claim Cam doesn't "get the calls" because he is a running QB.  Did Young?  I'm trying to remember if there were ever any white QBs that also weren't given calls due to their mobility.  Makes you wonder if it doesn't have anything to do with the mobility part. :(

Face it, if the Pathers had played better as a team, just like the Super Bowl, they would have won last night. I fear we see a trend with this team and this is going to be a tough season. I still think we are looking at 9-7 or 10-6 and one playoff game. This team isn't as good as some people think it is.

The powers that be has it out for him. I don't think Steve had it bad, but he wasn't as big as Cam is either.

Cam is big, black, crazy talented and doesn't apologize for any of it. He knows it; he said it in January. He knows that's why he doesn't get the same treatment, no matter what he says (or doesn't) today.  He's gonna go back to saying what he feels without safe stepping by mid-season. I know he hates to bring race into football, but lets call a spade a spade. He knows what's up.
