On top of that, poor clock management earlier in the half led to us having to try to get into field goal range with 40 seconds left and no time outs. They did a great job, but 1 more time out and we get another 10 yards for the kick and it's 51 instead of 61. 

Refs make mistakes. You shouldn't leave it in their hands.

Eh they made the stop and then had to deal with a whole new fresh set of downs right at the end zone. That's a crap hand to be dealt.

The Saints need to continue trying to work on the defense. 

It's not letting go of him to lose, it's tanking regardless.  Because eventually, if you don't get a QB now or next season, or the season after you'll be hurting more then you are now.  But, whatever man.  You guys keep going through those "Matt Moore" type of years down in NO.  We won't complain up here.

I tend to think the refs are calling games to keep them close and more exciting til the end. Just my 2 cent

It looked for a little while there that the Saint Defense wasn't going to be as bad as last year  Then the bottom fell out.  Jack Del Rio made a gutsy call going for the win. 

I hate Brees but love to watch him in the same sense.  He is an awesome QB that has such great touch. They will score some points and we will have to have some stops here and there to make sure we secure a win.

Oh, we're definitely on the same page there. It was a terrible call. But you have to deal with those, as a team. Knock the pass down on the 2 point conversion and it's a moot point. Make the kick, its a moot point. 

Sucks, but we all deal with it.

I agree. Just feel there were multiple opportunities to not suck afterwards lol.
