Pretty interesting first episode. Could be a big win for HBO, who kinda needs a home run right now with GoT winding down and their last couple "big" shows bombing.

Yeah, as one old enough to remember the 1970's movie version, HBO's new one is way better.

Was dissapointed in it.  Hadn't read the book or seen the old one.  But the advertisement made it more of a virtual reality not robots.  Robots are so 20th century.  

 

Would have been better if it was VR and people's minds where trapped in it. 

As far as the show. Jumped around and seemed to skip part's of the story.  I get they want you to try to guess who is real and who isn't. Bit seemed like all the good characters are robots.  

 

Also ripped off The Hunger Games with the board 

 

Did like the remix of Paint it Black.

I gotta disagree with you. There were a few interesting characters that weren't robots. Ed Harris looks like he'll be the most interesting character, and he wasn't a robot.

I think Harris IS a bot. It'll be a twist. He'll be a robot that's become self-aware. They say bots can't harm humans. So when Teddy (a bot) shot him, it did no harm. But why did Teddy even fire at him in the first place? He wouldn't even fire if Harris was human. Perhaps, since Teddy is a bot pretending to be human, they gave him a gun with blanks, but still ... the jury is out on Harris.

Crazy theory ... Delores is human.

And Squirrel, sorry you thought it was VR ... but that's not what the original movie was about so it never would be about that. And LOL at saying they ripped off the Hunger Games. Dude. You need to up your film game and see stuff filmed before 2000.

The fly is corrupting them. Will be interesting to see who programmed them. 

When they are watching over Westfield in the control room is my reference to Hunger games.

He said he was one that kept coming there and he paid a lot to do that.  And that's why the other guy shot him but couldn't kill him.  They set it all up like he was a human using it for evil fun.
